This event is a... unique one to be sure! If you were at roweokeathon then you kind of already know the schtick: We are bringing together athletic and artistic performance into one BIG GAY OLY COMP!
Be ✨dazzled✨ by Kjipuktuk’s performance artists; and 🤩amazed 🤩by the athletes looking to see who can lift the heaviest circles in two different (really specific) ways!

We brought two worlds together that are often seen as opposites, but are in fact, two sides of the same coin. It takes a lot of hard work and bravery to throw yourself on a stage in front of a crowd full of people and perform. Whether that performance is a Snatch or a Clean and Jerk; or performing in a band, doing drag, dance, burlesque or musical theatre!
We showed up for the most vulnerable people in our community, while also saying loud and clear that there is NO SPACE for abuse, bigotry, or hatred in sport, or the gym!
Can’t wait for next year folks.
